CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A warranted search of a Port Charlotte home Tuesday led to the arrests of a mother and her two adult daughters on various drug charges.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, a search warrant was served Tuesday at a home in the 21100 block of Gladis Avenue in Port Charlotte.
23-year-old Jessica Williams was inside the home with two small children. Investigators say four Dilaudid pills were located inside of her shoe and a syringe inside her bra while in bed with the children. Inside her bedroom Detectives located several syringes, two spoons with opiates residue on them, a rope, and a small baggie with one gram of marijuana inside of it.
Williams was placed under arrest for Possession of a controlled substance (Hydromorphone), Possession of Marijuana less than 20 grams, Violation of Probation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia who was out on bond for Grand Theft, and Driving on a suspended license.
Her mother, 46-year-old Christine Gonyea, was also inside the home, She told detectives that she may have some Dilaudid pills inside of her bedroom. While conducting the search of Gonyeas bedroom, detectives located thirty one Dilaudid pills inside of a purse as well as fifty two plastic zip lock baggies, a Suboxone strip, a green plastic baggie with Methamphetamine residue inside of it, and a metal spoon also containing Methamphetamine residue.
Gonyea was placed under arrest for Trafficking in Hydrocodone, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a controlled substance (Suboxone) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
While conducting the search warrant, Gonyea's daughter, 24-year-old Amanda Willis, arrived on scene and was charged for Sale and Delivery of a controlled substance - Oxycodone, Possession of a controlled substance- Oxycodone, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Mother and daughters were transported to the Charlotte County Jail without incident.
