FORT MYERS, Fla. — Meet Emma and Zorba on Fox 4's Pet of the Week segment at Gulf Coast Humane Society.
Emma was the pregnant one-year-old terrier mix with a brindle coat featured in the 7 o'clock show. Once she gives birth to her puppies, the furry family will be looking for a potential foster home.
Zorba was the playful 1-year-old collie mix featured in the 8 o'clock show. He's up for adoption soon at their shelter in Fort Myers.
This morning, the humane society also discussed the benefits of being a foster parent to a shelter pet.
They say more than 70 animals are currently in the care of GCHS foster parents.
