MARCO ISLAND, Fla. — Marco Island city council members have approved a resolution to allow Medical Marijuana dispensaries in the city.
The resolution includes specific requirements such as dispensaries not being within 500 feet of a school and following all requirements of standard pharmacies.
Florida voters approved medical marijuana back in 2016.
Now each city and county must decide where and how many dispensaries to allow.
