MARCO ISLAND, Fla. — Marco Island Police Department warned residents about a water supply shortage Tuesday but says water production is back online.
The city says the issue is a control system at the City's North Water Plant and production was down. The South Plant is up, but stored water is very low.
The city was asking residents to do the following to limit water use while the system catches up.
- Wait on the load of laundry
- Don't run your dishwasher
- Consider skipping your shower
They expect water to return to what it calls full normal status on Wednesday.
