FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.-- The Lee County Deputies have identified the man found dead in the water near Matanzas Pass. The man's body was found on July 8, 2018.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office wasn't initially able to ID him, so they sent out a composite sketch.
The Sheriff's Office says thanks to tips, the family of the man then got in touch with detectives.
He was identified him as Timothy Pfister of Cape Coral. Detectives say his death does not appear to be suspicious.
