COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County Deputies say a business owner who closed her doors due to the novel coronavirus pandemic found speakers valued at #300 missing from her restaurant.

Investigators say the business owner of Spankys Speakeasy noticed the missing speakers on April 9th while doing a routine check-up of the restaurant.

Deputies say the suspect, Eugene Farineau was seen on video surveillance stealing the speakers and leaving the scene on a bicycle.

Deputies say the victim found a description matching the suspect on a Collier County Sheriff's Office arrested list. Deputies say Farineau was arrested on burglary conveyance and grand theft charges the day the victim noticed the speakers missing from her business.

Authorities say the victim filed a report and pressed charges against Farineau.
