FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A Lee County man will spend 30 years in prison for sexual battery on a child.
According to the State Attorney's Office, 35-year-old Gilberto Mulgado was found guilty of Custodial Sexual Battery last month. He was just sentenced, and he will also be listed as a lifetime sexual predator.
The abuse happened for several years.
The victim eventually told a guidance counselor at her school about it.
Mulgado was arrested in 2017.
