LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Florida man has been sentenced to prison for crimes against a child in Lee County.
The State Attorney's Office says 42-year-old Jackie Johnson was sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Conduct.
In April of 2018, authorities say Johnson entered the room of a sleeping child and sexually battered her.
The child later told her mother and Johnson was then identified and arrested.
Johnson was also designated a Sexual Offender for life.
