FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Fort Myers man was sentenced today for a three-car crash that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old Naples woman in 2016.
Pascal Davis, 32, was driving southbound on Michael G. Rippe Parkway when his vehicle began to drift off the road, and he overcorrected, careening through three lanes and into northbound traffic.
The crash caused the death of the 26-year-old and injured a 33-year-old Punta Gorda man.
Davis was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison for one count of DUI Manslaughter, followed by five years of drug offender probation.
He was also adjudicated guilty for one count of DUI Serious Bodily Injury and DUI Damage to Person/Property.
He was sentenced to 5 years of drug offender probation and one year in jail to be served concurrently.
Davis also had his driver’s license revoked for life.
He will also have a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew, must attend a DUI school, attend a victim impact panel, and do 50 hours of community service.
