LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Glades County Sheriff’s Office relayed information to the Lee County Sheriffs office of a past-occurred sexual battery in Lehigh Acres.
Detectives began an investigation and learned that Omario Thomas 44, sexually battered a child who, at the time, was under the age of 12.
Thomas engaged in sexual activity several times with the victim during 2011 and 2012.
After a jury trial, Thomas was found guilty of Sexual Battery with a Child Less than 12 Years of Age and Lewd or Lascivious Molestation.
Thomas received two life sentences.
