LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Several mailboxes and stop signs are destroyed, leaving a mess in Lehigh Acres after a man driving home from Peter's Sports Bar drove into them.

A witness had followed 67-year-old Ronald Johnson home from the bar where he witnessed Mr. Johnson drive into a DOT stop sign and mailbox.

He then continued to drive East on W 5th Street, driving all over the road and hitting multiple mailboxes. In total, eight mailboxes were damaged, each valued at approximately $50.

Four stop signs were destroyed, each valued at roughly $500.

Additionally, three of the stop signs had street signs attached to them, which were damaged.

One yellow "DIP" sign was damaged, valued at approximately $500.

Our crew on the scene saw tire tracks and destroyed mailboxes littered through the yards.
