Florida Highway Patrol is now looking for the driver of a Ford Taurus, after they say the driver did not stop after hitting a motorcyclist that had fallen in the road.
It happened around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday night, close to a bridge that's near South Tamiami Trail and Cedar Creek Drive.
That's close to Spring Creek Elementary School.
FHP says 28-year-old Ryan Kinsey from El Paso, Texas had fallen off a motorcycle and became a pedestrian in the road. That's when a northbound tan or gray Ford Taurus hit Kinsey while on the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
