A Cape Coral man died in a motorcycle crash on Friday.
Cape Coral Police said the crash happened Friday afternoon.
They say Recardo Perez, Jr., 20, was riding his motorcycle in the outside lane of Diplomat Parkway West, traveling at a high rate of speed, when he approached a car and tried to slow down. Police say he struck the back of the car, was ejected from his motorcycle, and landed 179 feet away from the point of impact.
The other driver was not hurt in the crash.
