HENDRY COUNTY, Fla — Florida Highway Patrol says a 74-year-old man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car.
It happened Monday evening in Hendry County.
Troopers say a 31-year-old man was driving a sedan westbound on State Road 80.
They say the 74-year-old man was attempting to cross State Road 80 when the sedan hit him.
The crash happened just west of State Road 29 near Burger King.
The man was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital.
