LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. --- Lee County Sheriff's Office have released the identity of a man found dead on the side of the road in Lehigh Acres on Tuesday night.
Deputies were called to the intersection of Sparta Avenue and Scottsdale Street where they found Randolph Buchanan, 41, dead.
The Major Crimes Unit were called to the scene and determined the death to be a homicide.
There are a few homes around but deputies say this case is an isolated incident and is no threat to the surrounding community.
This is the third homicide in Lehigh Acres this month.
