The man who was rushed to the hospital after being bit by an alligator is recovering in a Tampa hospital.
It happened at the Rotonda Golf and Country Club around 1 p.m. Friday.
According to Charlotte County Fire & EMS, the victim was diving in a pond to recover golf balls when he was bitten on the left arm.
"He just came at be full blast, grabbed my arm all the way back in his throat an then he started to roll with me," Lahodik said.
He managed to make it to land and call 911.
Lahodik was then taken to a Tampa hospital where he received close to 400 staples and stitches from the gator bite.
