NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - A Florida man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a fatal drug deal.
21-year-old man, who was 17 at the time of his arrest, was sentenced Friday. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in 2016 as part of a deal with Collier County prosecutors.
Authorities say the teen shot and killed 17-year-old Marcos Aleman and wounded Michael Stallone following an argument during a drug transaction in January 2015 in Golden Gate Estates.
A co-defendant was previously sentenced to 12 years in prison for his part in the shooting.
