HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — A Hendry County man was found guilty of one count of Sexual Battery When the Victim is Physically Incapacitated and one count of Petit Theft.
William Carroll Meredith,48, sexually battered a woman at his residence while she was unconscious.
Meredith also took photos of her before and after the attack. He then stole $100 from her purse.
The crime was discovered because when the woman awoke, she found the images on the defendant’s phone. She also saw multiple Facebook messages he sent to friends detailing what he had done to her.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 8th.
