An 81-year-old driver involved in a crash on Pine Island Road near Hibiscus Drive has died.
The crash happened on February 4th.
Officers say a Kia Soul, driven by Thomas Hierspiel, 81, turned in front of a Kia Sedona minivan.
The minivan, driven by Linda Long, 55, of Cape Coral, collided with the Kia Soul.
Police say Hierspiel was violating the right of way.
Hierspiel of Cape coral passed away at a local hospital on April 20th, due to complications resulting from the injuries he suffered, Police said.
Long suffered minor injuries in the crash.
