LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A man has been charged with homicide after deadly overnight shooting that happened in Fort Myers.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened on Shawnee Road just before midnight Saturday night.
Deputies responded to the scene where they found 31-year-old Maira Vazquez's body in the lanai of the home.
Detectives later charged 42-year-old Angel Camarena Rodriguez with second degree homicide and shooting into an occupied home.
Rodriguez was taken to the Lee County Jail without incident.
