IMMOKALEE, Fla. — Uriel Chavez—Rodriguez, aka " Chongo", age 29, is charged with cruelty towards a child and abuse without great bodily harm.
The victim told police Chavez-Rodriguez was intoxicated and started snorting cocaine in her room. She says Chavez-Rodriguez also offered her cocaine but she declined. The victim says that is when Chavez-Rodgriguez threw her onto the bed and got on top of her. The girl screamed and kicked to try and get Chavez-Rodriguez off of her. She says if her sister hadn't come into the room and yelled at him, she fears Chavez-Rodriguez would have sexually assaulted her.
According to the police report, the victim said she has seen Chavez-Rodriguez do same thing to her mother. The mother verified this claim and said she never reported it previously.
Uriel Chavez—Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Immokalee Jail center for processing.
