AVE MARIA, Fla — The Collier County Sheriff's Office has arrest a man in connection with the shooting of a woman in Ave Maria near Arthrex.
It happened Saturday morning.
Deputies arrested 39-year-old Dominic Govea.
He's charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon .
He's also being charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
CCSO says the woman was taken to NCH North with non-life threatening injuries.
