COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Walter Lopez remains in the Collier County Jail Monday after investigators say he attacked several people in Immokalee.

The 25-year-old is charged with Aggravated Battery, Robbery, and Fraudulent Impersonation.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Lopez told investigators that he traveled from Georgia to Immokalee three weeks ago to work as a laborer.

One attack happened Thursday at Guadalupe Church, where he allegedly sent a man to the hospital by hitting them with a pipe.

Another victim says that on Saturday morning, Lopez hit him across the back with a large tree limb and then walked away.

Another victim and witness told deputies that on last Monday, Lopez put the victim in a headlock and stole $300 in cash from him.

Yet another victim told deputies that on January 17th, Lopez approached him outside a gas station and kicked him in the mouth and stole $40 from him.
