LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Lee County deputies arrested Jesus Perez this week on two counts of lewd battery and two counts of human trafficking. Detectives say he forced to minors to have sex with older men and sell drugs. They also said they think more victims are out there.

People living in the Westminster gated community in Lehigh Acres couldn’t believe Perez was arrested there Monday.

According to Perez’s arrest report, Perez would give the victims alcohol, marijuana and ecstasy in exchange for sex and nude photos. Human trafficking specialist Andy Tu with Abuse Counseling and Training said that was a red flag.

“Anytime someone asks for a nude photo, that can be used against them for blackmail,” he said.

Tu added those nude photos became leverage for Perez to force the girls to do other illegal things. The report revealed he also made them sell Xanax and marijuana.

He said anyone can call the national human trafficking hotline at 1-888-373-7888 to report a case and remain anonymous.

Perez is due back in court February 10th. As of Wednesday night, he at the Lee County Jail with a $120,000 bond.
