Officers responded and took Gibson into custody and found a knife and LSD in his pocket. After a K9 detected possible illegal substance in the car, a search revealed drug paraphernalia inside.
Gibson was found guilty as charged with two counts each of False Imprisonment and Criminal Mischief.
The State Attorney’s Office said when the verdict was announced, the defendant became disruptive and had to be restrained.
Sentencing is scheduled for March 2nd.
