LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A man is in jail for sexual battery following an emergency call to the Walmart in Fort Myers Beach on Saturday.
Lee County deputies arrested Douglas Pennachio after the victim said he was holding her against her will the night before, at his place.
An employee actually first noticed the woman Saturday afternoon in the back of the store. The victim said she escaped Pennachio's capture when they turned down an aisle.
Detectives say Pennachio raped her and threatened to kill her.
