Man accused of killing Cape Coral man sentenced to 25 years in prison

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — One of the men accused of murdering a Cape Coral man will spend 25 years in prison, followed by ten years of probation.

Fox four was in the courtroom today for Rodney Charles sentencing.

He and Mariano Saint Louis are accused of shooting and killing Dayvin Johnson back in 2016.

Johnson's parents got emotional today when they addressed the court.

The murder happened inside Johnson's mother's home on Northeast 23rd Terrance during a drug deal gone bad.

The other two suspects Ivan Webb and Parker David Zapata were allegedly in the getaway car.
