LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers has been arrested for kicking and choking his dog.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office says a deputy saw 35-year-old Gaudehcio Garcia walking a dog along Maple Drive in Pine Manor on Saturday and watched as Garcia kicked the small black and white dog when the pup was trying to go to the bathroom.
The deputy also says he saw Garcia lift the dog by a rope attached to the collar off the ground and then dropped animal, before kicking the dog three times on the neck and head.
Garcia was placed under arrest.
The department says they also found cocaine in Garcia's pocket and wallet.
