Locked vehicles thwart suspect in Fort Myers neighborhood

FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police Department gave a shout out to the neighbors in the Woodlawn Avenue neighborhood on social media.

Police say someone can be seen on video surveillance trying to break into vehicles over the weekend.

However, the suspect was unsuccessful at his attempts because neighbors had all locked their doors.

The Fort Myers Police are now looking for the suspect in the pictures.
