NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A North Fort Myers group wants to put benches at school bus stops, But they need help finishing the project.
"Benches For Our Babes" is looking for donations to buy items like benches, locks, and chains.
They said any amount is appreciated, but that anyone who donates $175 will get to adopt a bus stop.
Adopting a bus stop doesn't include any additional responsibilities, but does include:
-2 Picnic Benches (1 for your adopted stop & 1 for our community Bench Build weekly)
-10 Foot Chain & Lock
-Reflective Tape
-Solar Light
Anyone who sponsors a stop also gets to choose where the benches will be placed.
They also get a chance to paint the benches the color of their choice.
The group will also give sponsors a shout-out on social media, as well as any business information a sponsor would like to include.
