Little Hickory Island Beach Park to temporarily close for maintenance

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A beach access parking lot in Bonita Springs will close for approximately three days for maintenance.

According to Lee County Parks, beginning on Monday, October 28, the parking lot at Little Hickory Island Beach Park will close for drainage maintenance.

The park, also known as Bonita Beach Access 10, is located on Hickory Boulevard just off Estero Boulevard.

It is expected to reopen by Thursday, Oct. 31, weather permitting.

The restrooms and showers will not be accessible until the park reopens.

Lee County Parks & Recreation has posted signs to alert park patrons of the upcoming closure.

Alternate parking is available at Bonita Beach Access 2 through Access 9 for free. Fees are $2 per hour at Access 1 or Bonita Beach Park.
