LEHIGH ACRES, Fla — Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Lehigh Acres that left one teenager in critical condition.
Troopers say a 17-year-old female was driving east on Lee Boulevard Monday night.
They say the driver failed to negotiate a curve to the left and ended up traveling off the roadway.
She then collided with a tree in the grass median, troopers say.
The vehicle rotated back onto the eastbound lanes of Lee Boulevard and then entered the grass median again.
The right side of her vehicle then collided with a second tree.
That collision caused the teenage driver to be ejected from the vehicle, troopers say.
FHP is still investigating this crash.
