LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies have arrested a Lehigh Acres woman after a dangerous road rage encounter between two vehicles containing children Tuesday evening.

33-year-old Ursula De Aza De Leon is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Child Neglect.

The charges stem from an incident along Lee Boulevard around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim in the incident told the Lee County Sheriff's Office that she was driving with her 10-year-old son in the back seat when she was cut off by a minivan. She says she immediately recognized the driver as De Aza De Leon, who she claims has been threatening her for the last 18 months.

The victim says De Aza De Leon pulled behind her car and rammed it with her minivan about 5 or 6 times. As they stopped for traffic at the intersection with Gunnery Road, she says De Aza De Leon sideswiped her car with the minivan and began hitting the car with her hand.

The 10-year-old told investigators that De Aza De Leon was yelling obscenities at the victim and was holding up her middle finger.

Deputies say that De Aza De Leon's two-year-old child was in the minivan during the incident.

De Aza De Leon was booked into the Lee County Jail and released the next day on $25,000 bond.
