CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit teamed up with the Pine Island Fire Department to rescue an exhausted swimmer.
According to a LCSO Facebook post, a chopper located the swimmer after his boat got stuck in some mangroves.
From the air, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office aviation team directed the Pine Island Fire Department to the swimmer’s location for rescue.
