LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Comission have confirmed at least five Manatees that may need assistance in Whiskey Creek.
A public information officer with the FWC they say water levels are still high enough that the manatee(s) can pull themselves over the weir.
According to the FWC the manatees in Whiskey creek are able to swim and has access to vegetation.
