FORT MYERS, Fla. — Police are investigating a suspicious death after a 46-year-old woman identified as Tammie Rainey was found dead behind a Fort Myers sneaker store.
Investigators were called to Just Kicks on Cleveland Ave. near Braman Ave. Monday afternoon.
They said the body of a woman was found, but couldn't provide any further details.
FMPD says they do not suspect foul play but due to the age and death being unnatural it is still ruled as 'suspicious'.
Officials are awaiting autopsy results before changing the status of the investigation.
