LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A chilly morning in Bokeelia is where the 3rd annual Pine Island Calusa trail 5K run and walk took place.
The event was hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island.
All proceeds benefited the Kiwanis Club's children's program.
The race started at 8 a.m. at the Alden Pines Golf Club. Participants traveled along the waterfront of Pine Island and through the streets of the Alden Pines neighborhood.
