Lee County proposes to purchase and develop three acres of land in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lee County is looking to buy some land in Lehigh Acres to build a recreational area.

There will be a public meeting tomorrow to discuss the purchase and development of 3-acres of land located off Village Lakes Boulevard.

 It borders the northern edge of Lehigh Acres Park and the eastern side of an undeveloped property recently acquired by Lee County.

The meeting is at 5:30 on Thursday, Aug. 22 at the Lehigh Acres Municipal Services Improvement District's administrative office.

The office is located on 601 East County Lane, Lehigh Acres.
