LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- More resources are available to help find missing and endangered people in Lee County.
Thursday, the Lee County Sheriff's Office announced their "Reunite" program.
It is part of a partnership with the Sheriff's Office Youth Activity League and United Way of Southwest Florida.
Reunite will use state of the art technology like GPS devices, helicopters with radar technology, drones, and bloodhound tracking.
The United Way will distribute free GPS trackers for eligible applicants. This will notify family members whenever their loved one has wandered off.
