LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- We're learning more details about a crash involving a school bus with kids in Lehigh Acres on Wednesday.

It happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Leeland Heights Boulevard and Richmond Avenue.

Troopers say the bus, with six student passengers, was eastbound on Leeland Heights, approaching the intersection. As the bus made a wide right turn, and an SUV behind it hit the right side of the bus.

The bus then hit another car stopped on Richmond Avenue at a red light.

The SUV’s driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

None of the teenaged students on the bus were injured.
