LEE COUNTY, Fla — A Lee County man has been arrested and charged with twenty counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Investigators say the Sheriff's Office received a tip on August 14 about an individual with numerous images of child sexual exploitative material.
Both the Lee County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit and members of the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force took over the investigation.
Detectives verified the suspect as Marshall Faulkner of Lee County.
Detectives and Digital Forensics discovered Faulkner's laptop had numerous images of child pornography.
Investigators conducted a search warrant at Faulkner's residence on August 26, and Special Victims Detectives found an SD card that had more images of child pornography.
Faulkner was arrested.
"This case is sickening," stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno.
"We received this tip and immediately went to work. I couldn't be more proud of the Special Victims detectives and the Digital Forensics Unit for their outstanding work."
