LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County Library System will be hosting a month-long virtual reading festival this March "to celebrate the power of reading," the county said.
The county says nearly 30 acclaimed authors will provide nightly programming from March 1 through March 12. The festival also gives the community a chance to video chat with headlining and local authors.
The festival will also include grab-and-go crafts, a reading program with festival bingo, online S.T.E.A.M. contests, and art and creativity challenges.
“Our library system is pleased to once again provide our signature event for the community,” said Mindi Simon, library director. “The online format allows us to extend the festival’s length and scope.”
You can catch a preview of the festival beginning Feb. 22. For more information, head to ReadFest.org.
