FORT MYERS, Fla. — Each year millions of people make New Year’s resolutions. Lee County Domestic Animal Services invites you to “Skip the Jog and Walk a Dog” as part of yours. Make pets a part of the plan for the New Year and consider that a new pet can help achieve many of the most popular goals set each year.

The adoption fee for dogs will be reduced to $30 for the entire month of January. So say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021 with a new best friend.

The adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, heartworm test for dogs 6 months and older, feline aids and leukemia test for cats, Lee County pet license for pets 3 months and older, microchip ID, and a 10-day health guarantee. The adoption package is a $500 value.
