Lee County Domestic Animal Services holds a dog bite prevention seminar for kids ages 5 and up, to help educate them on the correct way to interact with their canine companions and avoid injury.

According to the Florida Department of Health, children between one and nine are at a higher risk for dog bites.

The dog bite prevention seminar is Wednesday night from 6 to 7 p.m. at Florida Southwestern College. It's located at 8099 College Parkway in the AA Nursing building. For more details, click here.
