FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office said a child died Sunday after deputies responded to a report "drowning incident."
LCSO said the call came in around 10:42 a.m. on Oct. 26 on the 5700 block of Autumnwood Court.
Family members and a neighbor performed CPR on the child, according to LCSO, before deputies arrived. LCSO said they also tried lifesaving measures.
According to a report, the 6-year-old boy died at the hospital.
