FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- The Margaritaville Resort planned in Fort Myers Beach is now one step closer to moving forward.
The resort announced this weekend that a lawsuit has been withdrawn that had been holding up the project for months.
The developers plan to start construction at the end of 2019, with a completion date in 2021.
The project is planned to span both sides of Estero Boulevard near Crescent Street, between the pier and the Lani Kai.
