FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Several agencies were on the scene of a home in the Buckingham Park community as they conducted an "active investigation"
No details have been released yet, but the investigation appears to be centered around a home on Chabot Avenue just off Chancellor Street.
Neighbors tell Fox 4 that investigators with the Lee County Sheriff's Office and Florida Department of Law Enforcement were seen removing items from the home Wednesday afternoon.
The family moved here about six months ago and neighbors never suspected anything.
"His name's Tony, real nice Cuban family. We never thought anything of it," said one neighbor.
We'll update as we learn more on this case.
