HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — A Labelle man died after being struck by a pickup truck on State Road 29 in Hendry County.
At 12:30 a.m., Feb.27, a pickup truck traveling south on State Road 29, approaching E Road struck a man walking in the southbound lane.
The 58-year-old man from Labelle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, a 32-year old man from Felda, Florida, and his two passengers, a five-year-old and seven-year-old, reported no injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
