DAVIE, Fla. -- The football team at LaBelle High School got a chance to meet with some Miami Dolphins football players on Thursday.

Labelle's football team were given a tour of the Dolphins training facility, watch players practice, and even got a chance to meet some of the players.

This is all a part of the Miami Dolphins commitment to help develop high school and youth football programs.

“What a great experience. This is our hometown team. We’re two hours away and the Miami Dolphins are our team,” LaBelle High School Head Football Coach Chris Siner said. “For them to invite us out here and incorporate us into the practice and into the facility and the players coming over giving our guys fist bumps, that’s just a great experience for guys that maybe would never even get to see a game.”

The team says its planning to host 27 other schools throughout the state.
