LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Starting today, you can help put together supply bags for the homeless.
Kids who are a part of the Kindness Club at the South County and Northwest regional libraries in Lee County are collecting things like travel sized toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, socks, and other basics.
They also need new or gently used backpacks or drawstring bags.
They'll collect everything from October 1st today through November 30th at all library locations.
Then they'll sort and pack the bags for Lee County Human and Veteran Services to hand out.
